Digital Factory

We help you to optimize your production floors and assembly lines to perfection. We have experience with exporting data from your machines and converting them into reports showing their utilization (IoT, digital shop floor), as well as using the data from the machines for forecasting the maintenance check needs (Predictive maintenance), to avoid costly assembly line slow-downs. Based on data interpretation, we propose, prioritize and implement next steps, e.g. maintenance of specific machines within the assembly line, to minimize the bottlenecks. Alternatively, as another from many examples, we can set up better shifts and utilization of your workers on the assembly line, based on the data of the utilization of your machinery on the assembly line (by analyzing and interpreting data how much and how often is your costly machine really used in the production by the operators).

 

Data-based Process Improvements

The era of “old-school” lean managers, trying to improve the processes both within the production part as well as back-office part of the company, just by using pen and paper, or piece of excel sheet at most, is over. For us, the “process” can be also part of your business going on far away from your factory walls – e.g. we are experienced with determining and implementing solutions for ideal route of your delivery trucks – so that your logistics operators can focus on higher value added instead of calling all the time to truck drivers, aligning with them on the route that the drivers should follow.

We see modern lean management as natural overlap of business thinking and IT/big data analysis and processing. Data sources need to be identified, processed, and then used for business improvement. Usually, there is no possibility to heavily improve processes without advanced usage of existing data analysis, and without some “IT-related” implementation (be it new IT module, new device for data gathering, new reporting infrastructure), as a way of significant improvement. However, Adastra Business Consulting is not a “software seller”, we always search for a way how to bring the improvement without necessary investments into the software/IT infrastructure.
